Brie Entel

Hi again. I’m Brie Entel, the Chief Marketing Officer of Corporate Prose. I love all things marketing.

I started Corporate Prose in late 2023 after 20 years as a corporate marketer. I LOVE corporate life, but ventured out ‘solo-ish’ to care for my special needs kiddo.

I’m the ‘real deal.’ I’ve held Marketing Vice President roles at Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies. I have a Master’s in Marketing from William and Mary and various professional certifications.

My not-so-hidden talent is turning technical jargon into stories, which I call ‘Corporate Prose.

Addy Smith of Addy Smith Graphic Design is Corporate Prose’s preferred graphic design partner.

Brie and Addy have partnered on corporate marketing projects for over 15 years.

Addy has 20 years of web and graphic design experience. She’s worked in agencies and on in-house design teams. Addy has a Bachelor in Fine Arts from George Mason University.

Addy currently resides with her family in South Carolina.

  • Our clients come to us with marketing challenges they can’t solve themselves. It could be lack of resources or time, perhaps there is a gap in subject matter or market.

    Corporate Prose evaluates whether our expertise is a match or happily refer you to one of our many network partners.

    We provide consulting in two stages:

    1. Analysis and Strategy

      This identifies the key to your challenge, market opportunity, and a high level overview of ‘where to play.’

    2. Part two is execution. This is the step that most consultants skip. We actually get your project or program in motion with hands-on support for a minimum of 90 days.

    Consulting engagements last about 6 months from start to finish. Some challenges are solved faster, others require more time to get fully operational.

  • Sometimes companies have a gap but can’t fill it right away with a full time employee.

    Or, can’t wait for a new employee to get up to speed. Results need to happen now.

    Corporate Prose provides interim marketing support embedded in your team at a senior marketing manager, marketing director, or marketing vice president level for a set contract term — 3,6,12 months at a time.

    This closes gaps in coverage with less risk for the company. It also reduces cost as there are no agency mark-up fees, no W2 taxes or benefits, and set timelines to that work with your budget.

    There are a lot of fractional chief marketing officers that have popped up in the past few years.

    The reason why corporate prose doesn’t take on fractional CMO roles is because we love ‘the doing’ of marketing.

    CMOs are in the tough position of continuously PROVING return on investment. It’s a never ending cycle of reporting.

    We’d rather be ‘the proof’ that marketing is working for your business.
